C. J. LITTLER & CO. was founded by Mr. Cecil John Littler with a vision to provide exceptional and expedited legal services in order to secure client interest. Since its inception in 1989, the firm has served corporations, government authorities and private individuals representing their interest in legal issues..

WHO WE ARE

Founding Partner

MR. CECIL JOHN LITTLER He was the founder of the Firm, who was an admitted Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court of Swaziland, and has been practicing as such since 1976. He was a specialist in Property Law, Corporate Law and the Administration of Estates.

Current Partners

Mr. Littler passed away in June 2010 and the Firm has been taken over by Mr. Sakhele Simile Hlophe, Mr. Nkosinathi Sibusiso Manzini, and recently joined by Mr. Ntsika Wiseman Fakudze.

    Nkosinathi Sibusiso Manzini B.A., LLB. (UNISWA)

    Graduated from the University of Swaziland with a Bachelor of Arts (law) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He then joined the firm of M. J. Manzini & Associates where he served his Articles of Clerkship. He was admitted and enrolled as an Attorney of the High Court of Swaziland in December, 2005. He also passed his Conveyancing exam and was also admitted to practice as a Conveyancer in July, 2007. In 2011, he was admitted and enrolled to practice as a Notary Public.

    Mr. Manzini has created a reputation as a skilled and dedicated conveyancer and Notary Public who is committed to expeditious and quality services to clients. Mr. Manzini has worked with all the country’s financial institutions, either as a Conveyancer for the registration of securities and also to recover debts (litigation) on their behalf.

    Sakhele Simile Hlophe B.A., LLB.(UNISWA)

    He was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of Swaziland on the 9th December, 2005. He practiced as an Attorney with the Firm of Attorneys, Ntiwane & Associates until the firm closed down in January, 2008. In February, 2008 he joined the Firm of Attorneys, Sipho Matse Attorneys, as a Professional Assistant. In April 2010 he joined the firm, C. J. Littler & Co. as a Professional Assistant. In October 2010 he assumed partnership with Nkosinathi Manzini and currently practicing under the style C. J. Littler & Co.

    Mr. Hlophe is a keen litigator with a considerable experience in Civil, Criminal litigation and Labour matters.

    Ntsika Wiseman Fakudze B.A., LLB. (UNISWA), LLM. (Robert H. McKinney School of Law, USA)

    He got admitted as an attorney of the High Court of Swaziland on the 8th December 2003, after graduating from the University of Swaziland with a Bachelor of Arts (law) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1999 and 2001 respectively.

    He served his articles and then continued to practice as a Professional Assistant with the law firm Zonke Magagula & Co. in Manzini until October 2012. He was appointed and served as a draftsman in the Constitution Drafting Committee of Swaziland that produced the Constitution Act of 2005 of Swaziland. In 2009 he was awarded the Fulbright Scholarship by the American government to study a Masters in International Law and Human Rights in the United States of American. He Graduated with his LL.M at the Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indiana, USA in August 2011.

    Mr. Fakudze joined C. J. Littler & Co. as a Partner in January 2013. He specializes in all court and arbitration claims, providing advice and opinions on legal suits, labour related matters including disciplinary process and other employer- employee matters, and general constitutional, commercial and corporate litigation.

    Professional Assistant: Mbhekwa M. Mthethwa B.A., LLB. (UNISWA)

    Graduated from the University of Swaziland with a Bachelor of Arts (law) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2002 and 2006 respectively, and was admitted to practice as an Attorney in February, 2012. Mr. Mthethwa is also involved in litigation, assisting the partners in High Court, Magistrates and Industrial Court matters.
